Why use a TENS machine in labour?

A TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) machine works by sending small pulses through your back, helping to:

• reduce the intensity of contractions
• encourage your body’s natural endorphins
• give you something to focus on during labour

Many mums find it especially helpful in early labour, allowing them to stay home longer and feel more in control 🤍

Why hire instead of buy?

You’ll only need a TENS machine for a short period of time — hiring keeps things simple and affordable, without adding another thing to store afterwards.

We send everything ready to go, so you can focus on preparing for birth, not organising equipment.

🌙 Luna Mumma TENS Machine Hire — Key Hire Information

• Hire period: 6 weeks
• Hire starts: from the date you choose at checkout
• Returns: a prepaid return satchel is included for your convenience
• Due date: the machine must be returned by the end of your 6-week
hire period.
• $50 Refundable Bond : a $50 bond is added to your hire of the TENS machine. This will be returned to you upon our receipt of the machine. This fee will be automatically applied at Check Out
• Late fee: $5 per day after the end of the hire period until received by Luna Mumma
• Carry case: yours to keep 🤍

We recommend starting your hire from 37 weeks, so your TENS is ready when labour begins — and you still have time to return it afterwards.

We also know just how big and tender those first few weeks after birth can feel 💕 That’s why return postage is already covered — one less thing for you to worry about.

For hygiene reasons, new, single-use electrode pads are provided with every hire.

Please take care of your TENS machine while it’s with you.

Fees may apply for loss, damage or missing parts.
