Hire Period

The standard hire period is 6 weeks.

Your hire period begins on the date you select as your hire start date at checkout.

The TENS machine must be returned by the end of the 6-week hire period.

Shipping & Returns

Your hire includes:

• delivery of the TENS machine to you 
• a prepaid return satchel for easy return
• carry case that is yours to keep

You are responsible for safely returning the TENS machine by the due date using the prepaid satchel provided.

Late Returns

As our machines are hired by other mummas, late returns affect availability.

A late fee of $5 per day applies for every day the machine has not been received by Luna Mumma after the end of the 6-week hire period, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Recommended Booking Window

We recommend booking your hire from 37 weeks’ pregnancy so you have your TENS ready for labour — and still have time to return it afterwards.

We also completely understand how big and overwhelming those first few weeks after birth can feel 💕

That’s why we include prepaid return postage, to make returning your TENS as simple and stress-free as possible. We will send you a reminder email 14 days prior to your TENS machine expected return date. 

Hygiene

Each hire includes new, single-use electrode pads.

Pads cannot be reused or returned for hygiene reasons.

Machine Care & Condition

You are responsible for the TENS machine while it is in your care.

Please return it:

•  clean
• undamaged
• with all included accessories (except the carry case, which is yours to keep). Please do not include the electrode pads in your return, these can be disposed of. 

Fees may apply for loss, damage, or missing parts.

Faulty Equipment

If your TENS machine arrives damaged or not working, please contact us immediately so we can assist or arrange a replacement where possible.

Do not use a TENS machine if you:

• have a pacemaker or heart condition

• have epilepsy

• have been advised by a medical professional not to use one

If discomfort or adverse effects occur, stop using the device and seek medical advice.
